February Update

Its been too long since I hit that "Start Streaming" button. I miss it greatly.

As many of you know from the last blog post/discord/twitter/talking with me that things here at home are a bit tough at the moment. Originally when this all took place it was on a certain path that would allow me to come back to streaming and somewhat of a peaceful outcome.

Lily was hospitalized and monitored for her actions, we thought we were getting the help we needed. We also were under the impression that she would be going to a facility for more help. Turns out that is not the case.

Without all the stressful details she does not qualify for any form of health, Since she isn't addicted to drugs, her self harm attempts were not "serious" enough, has no medical conditions etc there is no facilities to help her out. Military places are for older children, and relaxing and petting horses places will not accept her due to her behavior. She sits right on the line. Not in a position to warrant serious help, but not stable enough to get non evasive help.

But this is where stuff gets even crazier. Based on her accusations CPS (Child Protective Services) are involved. She told her therapist in the hospital a very long list of horrible things we (My Wife and I) have supposedly been doing to her. The list includes my wife punching her in the face the night she was hospitalized, taking her out of public school for no reason, not allowing her to have a pokemon build a bear, basically every punishment shes received for her bad behavior. Which mind you have always been the grounding types. She continues to share how she was punished but never why.

Here is where things get even crappier, CPS has been in our home multiple times now, asking questions, checking the environment. Listening to our stories, forming their own opinions etc. We are now in the process of being forced to have services in our home multiple times a week based on the allegations of a 15 year old. When i say forced It was basically we go through this process to protect Emily and Zoey from the court/investigation process. It's like they listen to us talk but they have already made up their minds. No lie its 1. Go through this process with therapists and people in our home or 2. Fight it, start an investigation, if at any time CPS gets a wild hair up their ass an 11 and 6 year old will have to be relocated from our home "possibly."

So I am a Hostage. I have to do what they(CPS) say to protect Emily and Zoey from any more of this bullshit. I can not parent Lily, When I do, she threatens to use CPS against me, and when shes backed into a corner she threatens self harm. As you can imagine this is all incredibly stressful, I am looking for answers, I cant blame CPS because they are used to helping and saving children from the monsters of society, But what happens when that systems being abused by the children itself? i have made this apparent to CPS, but it was no concern to them since lily had used an eraser to make marks on her hand. Don't get me wrong Lily needs help but shes destroying everything in her path to try to get emancipated or sent to a place where shes free to do whatever she wants.

As for streaming I cant promise that I will get to return anytime soon. The "Wrap around process" is supposed to be at the very least 3 months. CPS said they have to monitor this case until July 30th at the least. I've looked into legal actions but they endanger Emily and Zoey more than I care to risk, They have already been through enough.

I still check Discord as much as possible. I am currently playing Monster Hunter World and Fortnite.

On to some good news: As many of you have seen We are adding another to our family! Baby is due end of June/Early July. We are all very excited. We have a gender reveal coming up once we know, We are doing everything in our power to celebrate that we have been blessed with another child. It can be hard to look past the dark cloud that I spent most of this article talking about but we are doing our best.

Streaming on Twitch has brought me so much joy and made so many amazing friends. I am truly sorry that my personal life is in crisis at the moment and we all cant spend more time together.
