Love Thy Viewers~

Ever pop into a channel, excited to see what they are up to and that person is just as excited to see your name pop up as you are to see their pretty face? Thats a great feeling.

One thing I have seen over and over again, and I have even been guilty of this myself, is getting caught up in the numbers of Twitch.

Numbers, these horrible little digits that can bring smiles and take them away.

People tend to focus too much them I think. But there is something every streamer needs to remember. No matter what the number shows of how many people are watching. Each one of those numbers is a person. A human being who has decided to spend their free time with you.

This person has decided that they would like your company, To listen to you, experience your experience with you. They should be appreciated.

Just because we are behind computer monitors and not in the same room does not mean they don't deserve the same amount of respect.

If you were to host a get together and you invited 100 people but 5 show up, would you treat those 5 like shit and just complain how theres not more people? or do you go oh well now theres more for us!?

Nothing hurts a friend (viewer) more than feeling worthless. Your words can hurt even if you don't mean to.

My point is: Don't scare off the people who are already spending time with you by complaining that your numbers are not what you were hoping for. How would you feel hanging out in a stream and the person streamings like screw this, it isnt worth it no ones in here....but wait your in there right? Ouch.

Enjoy your time streaming, Enjoy that you have made it to 2016, and can now connect with others at any given time. Enjoy that 1 viewer hanging out with you in this big beautiful world. Think about this, that one person has millions of other streams out there they could of clicked on. They chose you. Thats pretty damn special if you ask me.
